Welcome to Spring and to my blog!

Last year, on the first day of spring, I started a handwritten journal. Each day I recorded an entry that answered the question, "How did I connect with nature today to improve my well-being and what lesson did I learn?"

But this year, I decided to try a blog. My question to answer is this,"How have I connected people with plants today to improve their well-being?"

That is what I do as a horticultural therapist... facilitate a connection with people and plants for therapeutic purposes. I want to practice my work in unique and creative ways.

And I want people to share how they connect with plants & nature. That's something that can't be done in a handwritten journal. I want to take advantage of social networking to offer ways for people take a break from the computer! Just step outside and engage your senses for the ultimate in stress management.

The goal of my blog is to offer ideas and inspiration so that you, too can experience the healing power of plants!
